Riders from the Sultanate of Oman
The scope of the specialised training offered by the international equine training centre – Traintech 2000 Pty Ltd extends to all points of the globe.
Recently riders from the Royal Household Cavalry of Oman undertook a program of professional development at the centre to broaden their ceremonial riding experience and to gain an appreciation of Australian horsemanship and equestrian sports.

Traintech 2000 has been involved in the skills training of personnel from Oman’s Royal Cavalry, Royal Mounted Police and the Sultan’s Royal Household Cavalry fro a number of years, providing programs for jockeys, track riders, trainers, racing administrators, vets and ceremonial riders.

Kim Receives Queensland Racing Foreman's License

For Kyoungnam Kim’s from Korea his hard work has paid off. Kim joined Traintech 2000 International Equine Centre three years ago to prepare himself as a thoroughbred racehorse trainer. After completing the College’s Certificate III in Racing (Trackrider), Kim began advanced studies in the Certificate IV in Racing (Thoroughbred Trainer). During his program Kim has worked for several of Australia’s leading trainers gaining valuable experience with thoroughbreds.

With the issuing of his Queensland Racing Foreman’s Licence Kim is eligible to take up international position with leading stables. He hopes to return to Korea and contribute his knowledge and training skills to the Korean racing and breeding industry in the near future.

Korean Horseman Jang - Jockey Training  

Korea Masa High School graduate Jang Jihoon selected Australia for his jockey preparation program after undertaking his basic riding and horsecare studies in Korea.

After six months of track riding training and general horsecare
skills improvement, Jang is now ready to take his next step in
his quest to be an Apprentice Jockey Senior Instructor at
the International Equine Centre TRAINTECH 2000 Pty Ltd, Lilian Jedski said, “Jang is almost ready to be tested by the Racing Control Authority for his first level Track riding Licence. If he passes this riding assessment he will then be given advanced riding instruction and experience at Australian licensed race tracks before being presented for selection as a Jockey Apprentice.
